Vehicles in Germany's City Discovered Smeared with Nazi Symbols in Blood, Police State

Roughly fifty vehicles have been marked with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the German town of Hanau near Frankfurt, as reported by authorities.

Vehicles, building surfaces and mailboxes were vandalized, occasionally with prohibited symbols, they announced in a official communication.

Police say they were alerted late on Wednesday evening, when a man observed that a car in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been smeared with a red-colored substance.

The liquid had been drawn in the shape of a swastika, they reported.

Police then found many other marked cars and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are illegal in Germany under legislation prohibiting the visible presentation of symbols from the Nazi era.

Officials state initial examinations show the fluid was most likely human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no indication as to where it came from; officials are not yet informed of any harm in connection with the occurrence," they commented.

City officials stated they were working "to unravel the mystery" and have asked to the residents for information.

A high-ranking political figure commented the attack rendered him stunned and required to be resolved quickly.

"This event strikes at the core of Hanau and reopens the trauma of the far-right terrorist attack in 2020," he wrote on social media, referring to the death of nine victims by a shooter focusing on residents of foreign heritage in February 2020.
