The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Party

Since the launch of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a diverse cast of personalities, and a gripping narrative featuring angels, demons, and dark forces expanding in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of the new season lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Introduced

Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the first table of heroes who will separate from the main group to embark on their separate journey, apart from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (brought to life by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Considering 13 cast members, it was obvious from the outset that maintaining everyone at one table would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the individual narratives before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Schemers, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

Per the DM, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might look unsuited, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the team knows exactly where to proceed after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose passing started the narrative’s action—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his own means, invading the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to dispose of.

The antagonist then settled his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the remote area, above the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each member has a specific drive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the companion and closest confidant, desires vengeance.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a dangerous location.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having resisted his family’s wishes to execute the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their status as key figures in House Halovar could help the party enter places they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a life debt to Wicander for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are sought by the powers that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The cleric betrayed the influential house and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • Teor is marked for death by House Halovar.

This leaves them no alternative but to travel to the northern region in quest for Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

Based on the latest episode’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight cast members to form the Questers and Planners parties.

Audiences can anticipate finding out which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on October 24.
