Ten convicted of digital abuse directed at Brigitte Macron

A Paris court has convicted ten people for carrying out the online harassment of Brigitte Macron, the wife of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.

The those on trial faced charges of circulating untruths regarding her gender and sexual orientation, in addition to making malicious remarks about the couple's 24-year age gap.

Their legal filing contends that Owens ignored all credible evidence disproving her claim opting to platforming known conspiracy theorists.

Owens has often echoed these allegations on her digital program and social media channels, and in March 2024 stated that she would bet her whole career on her belief that Mrs. Macron was born a man.

Brigitte Macron first met her future husband when she worked as an educator at his high school.

The pair married in 2007, when the then-29-year-old Emmanuel Macron was 29 and she was 54.
